Negotiations between Comcast and Bally Sports' operator Diamond Sports Group, which has been under bankruptcy protection since last year, broke down following a dispute over terms. Pay-TV distributors have been losing customers at a fast clip in recent years as customers opt for cheaper streaming options. Comcast had more than 13.6 million pay-TV customers as of March 31, after losing 487,000 subscribers during the first quarter. Some regional sports networks have begun offering streaming options to customers at a price point that doesn't upend the pay-TV model. In addition to Comcast, Diamond has held negotiations in recent weeks with Charter Communications — which provides pay-TV services under the Spectrum brand — DirecTV and Cox Communications.

Pfizer — Shares climbed more than 2% after New York City-based Pfizer beat Wall Street's first-quarter revenue forecast and raised its full-year profit guidance. CVS expects adjusted earnings of at least $7 per share for 2024, down from previous guidance of $8.30 per share. Analysts were expecting $8.28 per share, according to LSEG. A second-quarter revenue forecast also surpassed expectations, with Pinterest forecasting sales of $830 million to $850 million vs an LSEG consensus estimate of $827 million. A major Pennsylvania hospital shut down its liver transplant program last week, becoming the second medical center this month to take such an unusual step. The hospital, the Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center, said Monday that it had closed the program and submitted to a review from federal officials. “The decision to inactivate comes after concerns about clinical processes and documentation were identified,” the hospital said in a statement. Hospital officials would not comment about those accusations. The Hershey closure comes just weeks after Memorial Hermann-Texas Medical Center in Houston suspended its liver and kidney transplant programs.

Dell, 24, is in good spirits after he sustained minor injuries from the shooting, the team said in a statement posted on X, formerly known as Twitter. At least 10 people were injured in the shooting and were taken to the hospital. Dell is from Daytona Beach, Florida, according to the NFL. Daytona Beach is about 40 miles from Sanford.

Moving to Charlotte, Jorgenson estimates, has saved her at least $2,000 each month — commuting expenses and all. That incident prompted a three-week grounding of the Max 9, and will delay the certification of two new models of the plane, the 737 Max 7 and 737 Max 10, until at least next year. The cutbacks are the latest sign of the widening impact of the ongoing problems at Boeing throughout the air travel system. It announced Thursday that it has trimmed its order book to 19 of those jets, shifting to 737 Max 8 jets instead.
